Let’s mix it up a little bit, huh?
No, this is NOT your traditional Turkey Sandwich. This is what I call a BBQ Turkey Melt. And it’s freaking delicious.
For all of you aspiring Turkey Sandwich Chefs out there, here’s how you make it.
-Get some sliced Turkey Breast. I prefer Smoked Turkey Breast.
-Chop it up and throw it in a pot with some BBQ sauce. Heat and stir.
-Put some little cocktail bread thingys in a casserole dish.
-Top the bread with the BBQ Turkey
-Throw a little bit of Pepper Jack cheese on top and then some additional shredded cheddar or Colby/Jack cheese.
-Bake at about 425 for 20 minutes. But really just back it until that cheese is nice and crispy. The crispy cheese is good shit.
If you really want to get adventurous, throw a little Tabasco on there.
There you have it. The perfect snack for watching NASCAR on TV.
